Audio formats accepted
The standard format of an audio file is WAV 16 bits, 44,100 Hz, Stereo.
Do not use multiple formats in the same release.
The file must be complete (not cut) and high quality (no noise, etc.).
AI Generated content not accepted after 5th of October.
HD Files
Accepted high-definition file formats include:
- 24-bit / 44100 Hz (24/44)
- 24-bit / 48000 Hz (24/48)
- 24-bit / 88200 Hz (24/88)
- 24-bit / 96000 Hz (24/96)
- 24-bit / 192000 Hz (24/192)
Track Length
For Singles, EPs, and albums:
At least half of the tracks must last more than 60 seconds.
Number of Tracks
The number of tracks can be limited according to stores’ guidelines.
Duplicates
Tracks with identical audio files and metadata as others already in our database will not be accepted.
(This is checked using the MD5 algorithm.)
🎵 Audio Content
Audio content rules include but are not limited to:
- Pornographic content: Not accepted.
- Advertising: Tracks must not contain promotional audio for albums, songs, or external content.
- Nazi propaganda: Strictly not accepted.
- Terrorism: Audio promoting terrorist acts is not accepted.
- Cultural sensitivities: Content including hate speech, harassment, violence, xenophobia, or discrimination may be rejected.
- Modified audio: Heavily modified audio (e.g., pitch/speed changes to bypass detection) will be rejected and may lead to account review.
MENA Region Delivery
Content managers review audio for fit in Middle East & Northern Africa (MENA).
The following types may be excluded from delivery:
- Blasphemous content
- Israeli content targeted at Lebanon
We reserves the right to adapt guidelines for sensitive regions at any time.
⚖️ Legal
- Submit audio only if you own the master recording or have licensed it.
- Do not reference third-party intellectual property without clear authorization.
- Blacklisted artists/releases may be flagged automatically for potential infringement.
- Curated artists with existing catalogs may be restricted on some platforms.
- Public domain content may be rejected based on local laws and store policies.
(e.g. France: works produced before 1965 may be considered public domain in 2021.)
Exception: If you own the master, some rules may not apply.
Duplicates and Short Tracks
- Exact audio duplicates with matching metadata are not accepted (MD5 match).
- Snippets and repetitious tracks (i.e., content split into short segments) are not accepted.
